We are bringing the next generation of smart technology to the farm, developing advanced Embodied AI (EAI) and robotics to tackle modern agriculture’s most pressing challenges. Our research is driven by a simple goal: creating robots that can physically navigate, understand, and continuously adapt to unpredictable agricultural environments.
To achieve this, our work is broken down into three core areas:
-
Advanced Hardware: Farming environments are tough, and crops are fragile. We are building versatile aerial and aquatic robots equipped with soft, highly sensitive robotic grippers. By giving our robots, a human-like sense of touch and spatial awareness, they can handle delicate produce gently but firmly, reducing crop damage and boosting productivity.
-
Cognitive Intelligence: We are giving agricultural robots the ability to “think” before they act. By combining advanced 3D visual perception with powerful AI models, we are teaching our robots to understand their surroundings, reason through complex problems, and adapt their actions on the fly.
-
Evolving Learning: A truly smart robot never stops learning. We are developing systems that allow our robots to continuously adapt to new farming environments and tasks without forgetting what they already know.
Ultimately, this theme will deliver the specialized hardware, cognitive smarts, and dynamic learning capabilities needed to revolutionize the future of agricultural production.
